Russell has years of experience as an architect and urban designer of mixed-use schemes in complex settings, both in the UK and internationally. He has a strong passion for creating a sense of place with historical and cultural connections in all of his work. He also has a keen interest in the subject of new technology, its relationship with architecture and how innovation affects the design of our public realm and built environment. Russell spearheaded Assael’s skills and experience in the design of Build to Rent in the private rented sector and is furthering his knowledge through research and commitment into how prop-tech, BIM and modern methods of construction can accelerate this sector.
