Mikhail has been with TSNIISK n.a. Kucherenko since 1985. In 2009, he defended his dissertation on a topic connected with spatial thin-sheeted (membrane) structures.
He is a co-author of the unique longspan covering at the Luzhniki stadium as well as its reconstruction for the 2018 World Cup. Currently, he supervises monitoring of the covering.
As the creator of the covering, Mikhail was awarded the 2003 RF Government Award in the fields of science and engineering.
He took part in inspections of steel structures of the Ostankino TV tower after the 2000 fires as well as creation of measures to ensure extinction of fires and making sure that the structures are in working condition. He also took part in inspections of the Shukhov tower in Moscow as well as inspections of industrial sections of the pipe-rolling metallurgical plant in Taganrog. Mikhail managed scientific and technical monitoring, production and installment of multi-functional swimming center in Luzhniki, Moscow, and test procedures for elements of aluminum covering of the building.
He is an author and co-author of 50 scientific papers.
