Guy Eames founded the Russian Green Building Council (RuGBC) in 2009, the largest green building association in Russia today.
RuGBC, which unites many Russian and international companies, leaders in the architectural and construction sector, is aimed at accelerating the uptake of sustainable construction in Russia and developing and implementing Russian and international green building standards and other tools.
Guy Eames has twenty-five years of experience in the largest companies not only abroad, but also in Russia, over the past 12 years in the real estate and green construction market. He has a MSc in Climate Change & Sustainable Development.
Guy began his career in telecommunications and at various times held executive positions in Russian and international companies such as Delta Telecom (now Skylink), RTDC (a Western American holding that at one time founded Delta Telecom and Moscow Cellular, well-known to Russian consumers). At Philips Consumer Communications (PCC), Guy Eames was responsible for sales in Eastern Europe. From 1998 he worked for Golden Telecom.
Since 2009 Guy Eames was CEO of RuGBC, and since 2016 - Chairman of the Board.
During its activity RuGBC took part in large national projects, trained hundreds of assessors and experts of "green" buildings and students, participated in the creation of a regulatory framework for the construction industry in Russia.
