Evgeny Arnoldovich Voznesensky is a specialist in the field of engineering geology and soil science. He has authored 169 academic papers, including 7 monographs, 1 author's certificate, 1 textbook, 7 training manuals. Works at the Department of Engineering and Environmental Geology since November 1985, having accumulated 24 years of teaching experience. He lectures within the scope of basic courses at the Geological Faculty of the Moscow State University. Professor since 2001, Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences since 2000. Developed theoretical foundations of the new energy approach to assessing dynamic properties of soils, and created on the said foundations’ principles a new classification, determined the most important regularities of deformation and fracture of soils under dynamic loads. His research results were used in the construction of buildings and pipelines in earthquake-prone regions (Sakhalin), offshore oilfield facilities in the Kara sea and Okhotsk sea, Olympic facilities in Sochi, federal highways, nuclear industry and power generation facilities. Developed the Russian standard for dynamic lab testing of soils.
