From October 1978 to January 2000 he worked at VNIIPO in the following capacities: junior researcher, senior researcher, chief of sector, deputy chief of research laboratory - chief of department, in 1994-2000ã. - Deputy Head of the Institute, Head of Research Laboratory. From January 2000 to March 2005 was the head of the Academy of State Fire Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, then the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, retired Lieutenant-General of Internal Service (from 01.03.2005ã.).
