He began his work in 2000 in the Department of State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Moscow, then as an expert of the State expert examination of projects of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

From 2006 to 2017 he was head of the fire safety sector in the V.A. Kucherenko Central Research and Design Institute.

In 2018, he moved to the Central Research Institute for Construction of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, where he is currently deputy director of the department of urban planning and technical standardization.

In parallel, as part of the scientific activities, he worked as an associate professor of the Department of Integrated Safety of the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering and as an associate professor of the Department of Building Structures, Constructions and Materials of the JSC "Research Center Construction".

In 2011 he defended his PhD thesis at the Russian Emergencies Ministry's VNIIPO Federal State Budgetary Institution.

Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Fire Safety.

Author of more than 50 scientific articles in journals on fire safety, textbooks, scientific monographs, textbooks.

Co-author of a number of codes, NIR, STO, including the developer of the section on fire safety SP 267.1325800.2016 "Buildings and complexes high-rise. Design Rules".

Deputy head of the subcommittee "Fire safety in construction" of TC 465 "Construction".

At various times he was a member of councils for review of SSS in the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation, Gosstroy of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation. Member of the normative and technical council of DNPR Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation. Chairman of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Department of Town Planning and Technical Standardization Central Research Institute of the Ministry of Construction of Russia.
