Andrei Yu. Makarov was born on 07.04.1955 in Irkutsk.

Education: In 1979 he graduated from the Irkutsk Polytechnic Institute with a specialization in Architecture.

From 1999 to 2010 he worked as General Director of OAO "Irkutskgrazhdanproekt", since 2010 until recently headed the company "Trans-Baikal Institute of Spatial Planning".

Since 22.04.2013 on the basis of the results of the contest he started his work in the administration of the city of Krasnoyarsk in the position of Deputy Head of the City - Head of Department of Architecture of the Administration of Krasnoyarsk, the Chief Architect of the city.
