Aleksey Aleksandrovich Antipin is Deputy Director for Research and Innovation of the Civil Engineering Institute of the Ural Federal University named after the First President of Russia, B.N. Yeltsin, Deputy Head of the Department of Computed-Aided Design Systems for Structures, Honoured Worker of Higher Vocational Education. Expert in stress-strain state analysis of building structures, in survey and design.

In 1973, graduated from the Civil Engineering Faculty of the Ural Polytechnic Institute named after S.M. Kirov and qualified as construction engineer majoring in industrial and civil construction. In 1979, defended a thesis and proceeded to the Candidate of Engineering. In 1983, received the title of Associate Professor at the Department of Building Mechanics.
