Alejandro Stochetti leads teams in the design of site-conscious, efficient and user-based buildings. His work involves the understanding and integration of all disciplines to create highly efficient performance-based buildings.
For Alejandro, every projects starts with a thorough understanding of the site conditions, users’ needs and owner goals. From there, the challenge becomes how to maximize the potential of the project while minimizing the impact on its environment.
Alejandro’s recent projects at AS+GG include Kingdom Tower, the world’s next tallest building. At over 1,000 meters and a total construction area of 530,000 square meters (5.7 million square feet), Kingdom Tower will be the centerpiece and first construction phase of the Kingdom City development on a 5.3 million-square-meter site in north Jeddah.
Before joining AS+GG, Alejandro was a senior designer at Skidmore Owings & Merrill, where he was involved in the design and development of Burj Khalifa in Dubai, Las Vegas Tower in Las Vegas, Wind and Garden Tower in King Abdullah Economic City in Saudi Arabia, the KAEC master plan, and the Suzhou Convention and Exhibition Center in China. His experience also includes work in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, North America and his native Argentina
