Russian Federation Ministry of Construction expands its involvement in 100+ Forum Russia
Ekaterinburg hosted an expanded session of the 100+ Forum Russia Organizing Committee. The final version of the business agenda is approved. This year many Russian and foreign leading experts in architecture and construction expressed their desire to participate in the Forum.
Participants of the session were: Arkady Chernetsky, The First Deputy Chair of the Federation Council on Federal Structure, Regional Policy, Local Self-Governance and Affairs of the North, Svetlana Kuzmenko, Assistant of the Russian Federation Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities, Executive Secretary of the Public Council of the Russian Federation Ministry of Construction, Alexander Jacob, Head of Ekaterinburg City Administration, Mikhail Volkov, Minister of Construction and Infrastructure Development of Sverdlovsk Region.
Arkady Chernetsky mentioned that development of the regulatory and technical base for high-rise construction became one the most important results of previous Forums. He also added: “When the first Forum took place in 2014, the construction community raised an issue of the lack of regulatory documents that would allow to perform effective construction of high-rise buildings. At the moment, the work has progressed. Two codes of practice have already been approved and four regulatory documents are being developed.”
The business program of the 100+ Forum Russia considers Plenary Session and offsite meeting of the RF Ministry of Construction. These events will be devoted to important issues related to high-rise and unique construction in Russia along with implementation of priority projects on development of comfortable urban environment.
Vera Belous, Executive Secretary of the 100+ Forum Russia Organizing Committee reported on preparations for the IV International Forum of High-rise and Unique Construction 100+ Forum Russia She mentioned that Forum co-organizers plan broad program. The following institutions subordinate to the RF Ministry of y are Forum co-organizers: Central Research and Design Institute (TsNIIP) of the RF Ministry of Construction Industry, Housing and Utilities, Federal Autonomous Organization “Glavgosexpertiza Rossii”, Federal Autonomous Organization “Federal Center of Standards”, Research Institute of Construction Physics of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction along with leading institutions: CNIIEP Housing, R&D “Construction”, “National Association of Construction Experts”, The Union of Architects of Russia, the Union of Moscow Architects.
Dmitry Mikheev,the Head of the Federal Autonomous Organization “Federal Center for Standartization” mentioned that his institution will initiate a Round Table discussion at the Forum. It will capture issues of harmonization and conformity of the Russian and foreign standard and regulatory documents and to experience of cooperation between international standartization institutions.
Svetlana Kuzmenko informed that the Forum will host events related to promotion of occupations in architecture, construction and utilities, which were elaborated by the action group of the Public Council and with participation of the Ministry in “Childhood Decade” and “Building the Future”. Thus, 100+ Forum Russia will also finalize the contest on elaboration of the Program symbols and will launch the children architectural &construction ground. She also informed that Sergey Stepashin, the Head of the Russian Federation Minstroy Public Council plans to visit the Forum.
