International Forum and Expo 100+ TechnoBuild Will Last Four Days
Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuyvashev has signed off on the dates of IX International Construction Forum and Expo 100+ TechnoBuild. This year, it will last four days for the first time ever – October 18-21. There will be more not only for specialists but for those taking interest in construction, design, and improvement.
"100+TechnoBuild is a major field-specific forum which keeps growing and developing. Despite all difficulties, the 2021 forum and expo were held successfully and were highly praised here and abroad. Our goal is to keep this train going and make the 2022 edition of 100+ as successful" – stated Evgeny Kuyvashev.
The organizing team is taking the current epidemiological conditions into account while preparing for the event. The additional day will "give some room" to the business program which will feature 130 sections this year. "Day Zero" will be dedicated to workshops for narrow specialists in the construction industry (QS, engineers, marketers, etc.), and topics relevant to the Sverdlovsk region. Days 1-3 will see conversations about design, construction and management of unique buildings and structures, energy efficiency and security, green building, innovative materials and technologies, BIM-design, planning and development of transportation infrastructure, comfortable urban environment.
Aside from that, the exhibition will become larger – it will occupy three pavilions of IEC Ekaterinburg-EXPO (40,000 sq.m.). It is planned to attract up to 300 exhibitors – developers, producers of materials, technology and equipment, informational technology. Just like last year, the landscaping cluster will be designed as a park but two times bigger.
A novelty of this year's 100+ will be something that is not directly related to construction, which is interior design forum and expo.
"A portion of the expo will be designed as flats, and their layouts will be based on relevant data about floor plans presented by Dom.rf. There will be classic exposition features as well. In total, there will be about 40 booths" – said Vera Belous.
For the first time, 100+ will feature an Apartment Market, which will bring together developers, banks, realtors and other participants of the real estate market to create attractive conditions for purchasing housing. The first edition of the market will take place on March 19-20 in Yeltsin Center. There will be more collaboration with Russia-wide forums and conferences, the second edition of Russia-wide engineering and architectural awards 100+ Awards, as well as several competitions for student architects.
At the end of 2021, 100+ became Top-3 in the list of the largest construction-related events in Russia. In terms of the number of exhibition spaces, it is behind only two Moscow exhibitions. One of them specializes in construction machinery. When it comes to the forum, 100+ tops the list. Moreover, the event was recently named Project of the Year among regions during EFEA Awards. Winners were determined by a rating which was based on the number of mentions of forums, exhibitions and other events in Russian media. In 2022, 100+ TechnoBuild will continue to grow and expand.
