Experts on Fire Safety of Buildings Will Take Part in the 100+ Forum

Konstantin Belousov, director of the Research Institute of Fire Safety, will hold a meeting “Fire Safety of High-Rise Buildings, Singular and Technically Challenging Objects” for the representatives of design and construction companies. Mr. Konstantin Belousov, candidate of sociological sciences, expert in fire protection, is an author of over 30 research papers and publications.

Members of Subcommittee for Fire and Integrated Safety of the National Association of surveyors and designers will speak at the session. Professionals plan to discuss current norms and standards related to provision of fire safety of unique objects. The agenda also includes the issues of effective design of fire protection systems of objects. Among other things – specific technical specifications for unique and technically challenging objects.

The presentation by Evgeniy Meshalkin, Vice President for Science at NPO Pulse, will be devoted to the research of new approaches to fire safety PSTS development for high-rise buildings. Doctor of Engineering, Professor, Member of the All-Russia Academy of Sciences of Integrated Safety, he is one of the key developers of the system of norms and standards for fire safety and a leader of research for development fire detection and extinguishing systems. He is the author of about 300 scientific papers, more than 70 of them are dedicated to the problems of fire protection of construction objects.

E.Meshalkin is involved in the work on preparation of specific technical specifications, design and installation of fire protection systems for more than 100 different purpose objects (high-rise residential and public buildings, business centers, hotels and recreational complexes, storage facilities, etc.). A number of objects is part of the “New Ring of Moscow” program.
