EXPERT IN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FROM KENTUCKY (USA) WILL SPEAK ON ENERGY EFFICIENT CITIES

Development of megalopolises requires new approaches to urban planning.  Specialists in sustainable development with ever increasing frequency tell that contemporary cities must be smart, energy efficient, sustainably developing and comfortable for living.

Stephen A.Roosa, PhD, expert in energy management and sustainable urban development has prepared his presentations on the theory of smart cities specifically for the Forum participants. His talks are planned in several themed sessions - on residential high-rise buildings, passive skyscrapers, investments in high-rise projects and multifunctional buildings and complexes. The American specialist with more than 30 years of experience has a doctor’s degree in urban planning and development and is a certified energy monitoring and control system designer and a LEED accredited expert. Stephen A.Roosa has implemented a number of projects in effective management of energy and water resources for a total amount of over $100 mln.

Previously, Dr.Roosa took the position of the President of Association of Energy Engineers. Currently, he is president and CEO of RPM Asset Holdings in Louisville, Kentucky (USA) and heads  the Sustainable Development Professional (CSDP) Board and Renewable Energy Professional (REP) Certification Board.
