USUAA is going to hold a lecture on cultural heritage objects to see whether their significance is temporal or permanent. Listeners will also see students' drafts of projects for the city and the region, hear about the significance of small gardens for a comfortable urban environment and learn about experiences of creating designs for comfortable urban environment development.
Yeltsin Center will host an exhibition of the MZHK-1980 project. Visitors will learn about this large-scale cultural project dedicated to the 40-year anniversary since the cornerstone of the Youth Residential Complex in Sverdlovsk / Yekaterinburg was laid.
Union of Architects of Russia – a Yekaterinburg-based organization – will throw an architectural contest titled Arch-Idea. The contest will be organized together with USUAA, NAID and Yekaterinburg city administration. The contest theme is going to be Concepts for Improvements of the Iset River Front.
Drugoy Mir – a charity foundation – will set up an exhibition of mock-ups of significant and famous buildings of Yekaterinburg and Sverdlovsk region by the Gorod-Konstructor project.
In addition, a session on the experiences of museum reconstruction in the modern metropolis. Several speakers will share their experience. Among the speakers will be Amir Idiatulin, who will speak about the Xingfu village Pan-Museum project in China).

OOO NANOTURBODEFLEKTOR will showcase innovative natural ventilation equipment made of ABS plastic.
OOO Tsivilskiy Zavod Metalloizdeliy will present shaped piping pieces for utilities systems.
ZAO RPP will exhibit construction materials made of fiberglass and basalt fiber reinforced polymer.
PKF Texnomet will show how storm sewage waste disposal systems work. Visitors will be able to attend tours to objects located on the territory of the IEC.

Alexander Lyubartsev, Chief Engineer at Metropolis, will share his experience of museums reconstruction in the modern metropolis using the example of HEP-2 in Moscow.

World Architecture Community is a unique platform. Since 2006, it gathers architects, interior designers, students and research scientists in the fields of design and architecture to exchange their experience and compete in contests. WAC is inviting architects and interior designers to participate in the 36th WA Awards contest. Prizes are going to go to prominent projects that deal with promising and relevant matters in modern architecture.
Urban Awards is a prestigious award in the field of urban housing. This year, projects from Yekaterinburg got to the finals of the contest. RC Clever Park (Acons Group) won in two nominations – Best Regional Business-Class Regional Complex and Best Regional Project of Integrated Urban Development. Park Stolits (Atlas Development) won the nomination titled Best Regional Business-Class Housing Complex Under Construction.
