Background
He graduated from the Moscow Theological Academy (2010, PhD in Theology) and the M. A. Sholokhov Moscow State University for the Humanities (2010, specialty: theology).
After graduating from the Moscow Theological Academy, Hieromonk Cornelius worked as the head of the educational department of the Moscow Theological Academy. In 2018, the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church appointed him rector of the Yekaterinburg Theological Seminary.
