Vladimir Alyokhin

Background

A prominent scientist and engineer in the field of calculation and computer-aided optimal design of complex structural systems. He is the author of more than 350 scientific and methodological works, 4 monographs, and 13 copyright certificates for inventions. He is the author of the chapter for the CIS countries in the international handbook on design in seismic areas, published in the USA (1994). He has repeatedly interned at universities and architectural and construction companies in the UK, USA, Italy and other countries.

Founder (1992) and permanent head of the Department of CAD of Construction Facilities at UrFU.

From 2005 to 2015, he was the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Director of the UrFU Institute of Civil Engineering. Member of the Presidium of the European Association for Building Education and Advanced Training in Construction (EUCEET). Coordinator of European projects for TEMPUS and ERASMUS+ programs.

Since 1990, V.N. Alyokhin has been the director of the TEHKON design and survey company.

V.N. Alyokhin is a member of the Presidium of the UTO of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, a member of the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences "Digital Technologies in Construction and Architecture", an academician of the New York Academy of Sciences.

Honorary Builder of Russia, Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation, Honorary Prospector. Advisor to the RAASN.
