Victor Kolyasnikov

Background

• He graduated from the Sverdlovsk Architectural Institute (1977, specializing in Urban Planning) and completed postgraduate studies at the Moscow Architectural Institute (1982).
• He has been teaching since 1977. He successfully defended his PhD thesis in 1982 and his doctoral thesis in 2000. In 1997, he was awarded the academic title of professor.
• In 1989-2001, Head of the Department of Urban Planning, and in 2001-2011, Vice–rector for Academic Affairs at Ural State University.
• Since 2012, Professor of the Urban Planning Department of UralGAKH, head of the Urban Planning Laboratory of UralNIIproekt RAASN.
