Background

Valentin Anatolyevich Gripas is from the village of Alexandro-Kalinovo, Konstantinovsky district, Donetsk region. Date of birth – March 15, 1969.

In 1987, he joined the army. He returned from service in 1989. A year later, he began working as a foreman of the fourth section at Salymskaya PMK-CH.

In 1992, he got a job as a foreman at branch number four of the Nord Trust, but soon in the same year he changed his job, getting a job at the self-financing and construction Department of Surgutgazprom. He worked there until 1997: he was the foreman of the site, foreman, deputy head of production.

In 1994, Valentin Gripas graduated from the Tyumen Civil Engineering Institute with a degree in Highway and Airfield Construction.

  • In 1997, he became the head of a branch of Sholom LLC, and at the end of the same year he got a job at Salym-93 CJSC. Within five years, he changed three positions there: he was the chief engineer, Director and CEO.
  • From 2002 to 2006, he was Deputy Director and General Director of the Construction Directorate LLC in Tyumen, then headed the Municipal Unitary Enterprise Tobolskstroyzakazchik. However, he soon received the post of Deputy Head of the city of Tobolsk for construction.
  • In 2007, he took the chair of the Director of the State Budget Administration of the Tyumen region "Management of Capital Construction".
  • In 2009, Valentin Anatolyevich Gripas became the head of the Board of the Leninsky Administrative District of the Tyumen City Administration.
  • In 2010, he became the head of the Department of Construction, Energy and Housing and Communal Services of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra.
  • In 2011, he was appointed Deputy Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra.
  • In September 2012, Dmitry Medvedev included him in the federal headquarters for ensuring the safety of electricity supply.
  • In 2013, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Sverdlovsk region.
