Nikolay Tracking

Background

Graduated from Tomsk Civil Engineering Institute, Urban Construction and Agriculture, Civil Engineer 1979, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor.

From 1979 to 1983, he was a junior researcher at the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Tomsk Institute of Physics and Technology. From 1983 to 1987. Postgraduate student at the Kuibyshev Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. In 1988 he defended his PhD thesis.  From 1988 to 1997, Senior Researcher, Head of the Sector, Head of the laboratory of experimental and industrial research in Sumy branch of Tsniipromzdanii, concurrently Associate professor of the Department of Building Structures of Sumy Agricultural Institute.

From 1997 to 2001, he was a doctoral student and associate professor at the Russian State Open Technical University of Railway Communications. In 2004 he defended his doctoral thesis. Since 2001, he has been working at Tsniipromzdaniy JSC as a senior researcher, head of the sector, and since 2004 as Head of the Structural Systems Department No. 1. Since 2024, he has been Deputy General Director for Scientific Work. 

Since 2006, he has been working part-time as a professor at the Department of Reinforced Concrete and Stone Structures at the National Research University MGSU.

In 2008, he was awarded the title of professor.

Since 2014, he has been an advisor to the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.

Since 2023, honorary member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and Honorary builder.
