
Nikita Tokarev
Background
In 1994 he graduated from the Experimental Educational Design Workshop of the MARCHI under the supervision of V. Rannev and E. Assa, in 1997 he completed an internship at the Institute of Housing and Urban Development (Rotterdam).
Since 1997, he has taught at the MARCHI at the Department of Architectural Practice, and since 2002 at the Experimental Educational Design Workshop. He is the author of more than 50 publications in the professional press, including in the magazines "Project Russia", "Project International", "TATLIN", "Architectural Bulletin", "Art", etc.
In 2000-2012, he was the head of the architectural bureau PANACOM. Among the projects and buildings of the bureau are more than ten private houses in the Moscow region, interiors in Moscow and Krasnodar, projects of the Achipse recreation center (Sochi) and the LAKEHOUSE apartment hotel (Barvikha), equipment design for Grohe and Valli&Valli.
The MARSH Architectural School was established in 2012 to educate and train Russian students in international educational programs.
The school is a unique educational center specializing in international education in architecture and urban studies. The MARCH is being developed in partnership with the Faculty of Art, Architecture and Design at London Metropolitan University (LMU), one of the UK's top architecture schools. MARSH students can obtain a British MA or BA (Hons) degree in Architecture and Urbanism while studying in Moscow.
MARSH is included in the list of the 100 best architectural schools in Europe according to the authoritative Italian magazine DOMUS (2014, 2015).
