
Stephen Rose
Background
Stephen A. Rosa, PhD, is a recognized expert in the field of energy management and sustainable urban development with more than 30 years of experience in this field. Dr. Rosa is a certified Energy Monitoring and Management Designer (C.S.D.P., C.E.M., C.I.A.Q.P., C.M.V.P., B.E.P., C.D.S.M.) and an accredited LEED expert. He holds a PhD in Planning and Urban Development and has extensive experience working with government, non-government agencies and commercial organizations on benchmarking requirements and AEE certification programs. He visited 80 countries and all US states, and headed the US Trade Mission to Brazil, Chile, Argentina, and Peru in 2004. He has implemented several projects on efficient management of energy and water resources totaling more than 100 million US dollars. Currently, he is the President of RPM Asset Holdings in Louisville, Kentucky. His company offers solutions for environmental energy management, manages real estate and other investments, and conducts training seminars. In the past, Dr. Rosa served as President of the Association of Energy Engineers, and now heads the Sustainable Development Professional (CSDP) Board, as well as the Renewable Energy Professional (REP) Certification Board.
