Ivan Sorokin

Background

He graduated from the Nosov Moscow State Technical University with a degree in Architecture and continued his postgraduate studies at the N.S. Alferov Ural State University of Architecture and Art, specializing in "Researcher, teacher-researcher".

He is a member of the board of the Sverdlovsk public organization Union of Architects of Russia and actively participates in the organization of annual competitive educational programs such as ARCH-IDEA, ARCH-CONCEPT, ARCH-PLAN, conducting them as part of various professional events.

From 2012 to 2015, he taught at the Department of Architectural and Construction Design and Building Structures at the Moscow State Technical University named after G.I. Nosov.

From 2016 to 2020, he worked as a chief specialist in the Department of Architecture, Urban Planning and Land Relations Regulation of the Yekaterinburg City Administration.

In 2018, he initiated the creation of the Interregional Youth Association of the Union of Architects of Russia.

From 2020 to 2022, he held the position of a leading architect at Start Architectural Bureau LLC.

In the period from 2022 to 2023, he led the design team in the Department of Architectural and Urban Planning Solutions of the Federal Autonomous Institution "Unified Research and Design Institute of Spatial Planning of the Russian Federation".

From 2023 to the present, he has been a project manager and urban architect in the MARKS GROUP of companies.
