Anna Soboleva

Background

Anna Soboleva started her career with Interface in 2008 and has been accumulating knowledge and experience in the green interiors and materials industry for 12 years.

Since 1998, Interface has been recognized every year as one of the most environmentally sustainable companies in the world, while operating in a little-known market for modular commercial floor coverings.

In recent years, Anna Soboleva and the team at Interface's Moscow office have been able not only to increase the visibility and use of materials such as environmentally responsible carpet tiles and designer vinyl tiles (LVT) in Russia, but also to spread the ideas of environmentally and socially responsible business and production.

One of the most important urgent tasks is to familiarize Russian architects, designers and end users with the concept.Biophilic Design: creating interiors based on 12 eco-principles with love and care for people and nature.

Since 2021, Anna and her colleagues have started implementing the ideas of Make Carbon Matter – the need to reduce the level of carbon dioxide in the Earth's atmosphere in order to reverse the process of global warming.
