Siegbert Hof
Background
Since 2010, Siegbert Hof has been working at the Technical support center for consultants for the integrated energy supply system Totally Integrated Power (TIP) of Siemens. Its main activity is the compilation, control and editing of technical documentation, instructions and reference books on the development of energy distribution systems. The integration of data obtained by Siemens itself and from other sources, and their transformation into comprehensive text and meaningful graphical information, has been the basis of books and brochures that Siemens has been offering consultants for over 10 years.
With a doctorate in theoretical physics, he began his career at Siemens in 1988 and worked on calculations of nuclear power plants, after which he switched to public relations and the compilation/editing of small publications for the General Directorate. Following that, he was the marketing director of the UPS manufacturing company, which spun off from Siemens in 1998, and since 2000. which became a part of Chloride plc. The creation and development of a new company in the segment of the so-called "medium-sized business" was associated with the implementation of a full range of marketing activities and participation/teamwork in national economic associations and organizations. He was a co-author of several publications at the Federal Association for Information Technologies, Telecommunications and New Media, and in 2010 he again became an employee of Siemens.
