Andrey Shushlebin
Background
Head of the Concept Development Workshop at the Atom Institute of Integrated Design (ICP), one of the top 5 design bureaus in the Urals,
Guest lecturer at Ural universities in the disciplines of architecture and development,
speaker of regional and federal professional forums.
In Atom projects:
— implemented the principle of block-by-block development with the integration of European approaches and reliance on the Ural context and environment,
— rethought the approach to building — most of the projects are created in a modern quarterly approach. The neighborhood principle, which prevailed until recently, cared less about the structure of the territory: the residential complex was in the center of attention, and the space around it was formed by a fence.
The new principle not only distinguishes residential complexes from neighboring houses, but also helps the neighborhood space to become more permeable and friendly to citizens. This approach also contributes to the formation of a more comfortable and high-quality urban environment.
Flagship projects include the development of the Opera Tower business center and the Svoboda Residence apartment complex.
