Background
He graduated from the Chelyabinsk Polytechnic Institute as a civil engineer with a degree in civil engineering. After completing his postgraduate studies, from 1975 to 1990, he worked at the Department of Structural Mechanics of the CHPI: as a junior researcher, assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor.
