Sergey Nikolaevich Karpenko (born in 1978), Doctor of Technical Sciences, Deputy Head.Laboratory of "Problems of Strength and Quality in Construction" of the National Research Institute of Physics and Technology of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Advisor to the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. He graduated from Moscow State University of Railway Engineering (MGUPS) with a degree in system engineering.
Participated in the technical support and quality control of reinforcement work of most high–rise and unique construction facilities in Moscow (Moscow City Federation, CJSC Monarch & C, LLC RASEN STROY, etc.), St. Petersburg (Okhta Center), and other Russian cities. He developed recommendations for the restoration of the Ostankino TV Tower after the fire. Participated in the development of a draft Manual on the design and construction of monolithic reinforced concrete large-span structures of road transport structures in the city of Moscow from high-strength and ultra-high-strength heavy and fine-grained concrete (MNITEP).
