Sergei Alpatov

Background

General Director of the Association of Underground Builders and Designers, President of the Russian Society for the Introduction of Trenchless Technologies, Deputy Chairman of the NOSTROI Underground Space Development Committee, member of the ACUUS Board of Directors.

In 1980, he graduated from the Plekhanov Mining Institute with a degree in Construction of Underground Structures and Mines, and in 1992 from the Interdisciplinary Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining at the St. Petersburg University of Economics and Finance with a degree in New Management Methods in Market Conditions.

He started his career at SMU-17 Lenmetrostroy. He worked as Deputy Chief Engineer, chief engineer of Tunnel detachment No. 3 of Lenmetrostroy.

He was a member of the Board of Directors of Lenmetrostroy. He worked as the general director of the MGP "Metrospetsstroy", the MIST Corporation.

Since 2008, he has held the position of General Director of the Association of Underground Builders and Designers.

Since 2013, he has been President of the Non-Profit Partnership Russian Society for the Introduction of Trenchless Technologies (ROBT), member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Research Centers for the Underground Space of Megacities (ACUUS).
