
Michael Posokhin
Background
In 1972, he graduated from the Moscow Art Institute with a degree in Architecture. Since 1976, he has been a Candidate of Architecture. The experience of creative and labor activity is 50 years.
In 1997, he was appointed First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Architecture and Urban Planning of the City of Moscow.
In 2010, he was elected President of the National Association of Designers. In 2014, he was elected President of the National Association of Prospectors and Designers. In 2018, he was re-elected for a second term.
Full member, Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts; full member of the Academy of Architectural Heritage and the International Academy of Architecture (Moscow Branch); Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences; member of the Expert Advisory Council on Monumental and Decorative Arts under the Government of the Russian Federation; member of the Union of Architects of Russia and the Moscow Union of Artists.
