Leonid Nuzhdin

Background

Graduated from the National Research Institute of Physics and Technology in 1979.

Head of the Scientific Research Laboratory of the Dynamics of foundations and Foundations of NGASU (Sibstrin) since 1992.

Since 1997. He is the Head of the Department of Scientific Research, Expertise, Planning and Implementation of NGASU (Sibstrin)

Professor of the Department of Engineering Geology, Foundations and Foundations of NGASU (Sibstrin) and the Department of Construction Production and Geotechnics of PNRPU. Chairman of T-voSibGt-V.

In 1999-2014, he worked concurrently as the head of the Department of Engineering Geology, Foundations and Foundations of NGASU (Sibstrin), and in 2001-2013 as the director of the Siberian Regional Interuniversity Center for the Development, Construction, Reconstruction, Repair and Operation of the material and technical base of educational institutions.

Main areas of activity:

• design and optimization of structural solutions for foundations and foundations;
• development of new methods to increase their load-bearing capacity and enhance the effectiveness of emergency facilities;
• dynamics of foundations and foundations;
• investigation of wave processes in the pile foundation — foundation system.

Based on the results of the work, more than 600 technical reports and expert opinions were compiled, and more than 1,750 written consultations were conducted.

More than 230 residential, public and industrial buildings have been erected and reconstructed in Novosibirsk, Western Siberia, Altai, Kuzbass, Khanty-Mansiysk, Yamalo-Nenets and Chukotka Autonomous Okrugs.

He is the author of more than 370 publications, of which more than 100 have been published in foreign publications or translated into foreign languages.
