Nikolay Novikov

Background

Nikolai Sergeevich has been working at the institute since October 2018.

In 2019, he successfully defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences on the topic "Fire resistance of fibreglass structures for road tunnels and the subway."

His research interests are related to experimental and theoretical research on the fire resistance of steel and reinforced concrete structures. As a contractor, he participates in the development of interstate and national standards for assessing the fire resistance of steel and reinforced concrete building structures, and is also a contractor in research work in the department's field of activity. 

He has more than 35 scientific publications in research areas, including two patents for inventions and one certificate of registration of a computer program.
