Sergei Nikonov

Background

From 1996 to 2002, he founded and was president of regional public organizations: Federation of Hand-to-Hand Combat of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Fighters of the Urals Association;

From 2008 to 2009 he worked in the management of one of the largest enterprises of the fuel and energy complex of the Sverdlovsk region.;

2002 — 2012 held senior positions in the Regional Executive Committee of the United Russia Party, member of the Regional Political Council;

From 2005 to 2008, he worked as the Governor's business manager and Government of the Sverdlovsk Region, Member of the Government;

2009 — 2010 worked as the Chief of Staff of the Government of the Sverdlovsk region;

In 2011 and 2016, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region.;

Since 2016, he has been Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Policy, Environmental Management and Environmental Protection.

Since 2021 — Chairman of the Committee on Ecology, Nature Management and Environmental Protection.
