Yuri Nikiforov

Background

Professor of the Department of Architectural Design of the Ural State Pedagogical University.

Candidate of Architecture, Professor. Member of the Union of Architects of Russia since 1986.

In 1977 he graduated from the Sverdlovsk Architectural Institute. In 1984, after studying at the target postgraduate school of the Moscow Architectural Institute, he defended his PhD thesis.

He is a specialist in the field of industrial architecture, participated in the development of national economic topics to improve the architectural and spatial environment of industrial enterprises in the Urals.

Two PhD theses were completed and successfully defended under his supervision.

He has more than 50 publications. Concurrently, he was engaged in practical architectural activities, is the author and co-author of more than 55 projects, half of which have been implemented.
