Background
He has two higher professional educations: a diploma with honors in the field of landscape gardening and landscaping, a bachelor's degree in law, and a master's degree with honors in the field of reconstruction and restoration of cultural heritage.
Since 2002, he has been working in the Committee for State Control, Use and Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments of the Government of St. Petersburg.
He is actively engaged in scientific and popularization activities in the following areas: preservation and restoration of historical sites of landscape architecture and landscape art; preservation of the historical environment of cities in general and St. Petersburg in particular; preservation of the world cultural heritage.
In addition to these areas, the Committee oversees the preservation and use of historical hydraulic structures and the promotion of cultural heritage preservation among young people (schoolchildren and students).
His research interests also include the preservation of intangible heritage.
Member of ICOMOS (International Council for the Preservation of Monuments and Places of Interest InternationalCounilonMonumentsandSites).
