
Danila Medvedev
Background
Danila Andreevich Medvedev is a leading Russian futurist, specialist in environmental solutions and long—term strategic planning.
He graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the St. Petersburg International Institute of Management (IMISP) in 2000 with honors and in 2005 defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences at St. Petersburg State University of Economics.
Danila Medvedev is one of the founders of the Russian Transhumanist Movement and since 2005 served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the cryonics company KrioRus until 2019.
Later, Danila founded a new cryonics company, Open Cryonics, which has been successfully engaged in cryonics for humans and pets to this day. During his career, he actively popularized the ideas of transhumanism, physical immortality, and cyborgization, making these concepts well-known and acceptable in Russia.
Since 2011, he has been the host of the TV program "Program for the Future" on the Rossiya-2 TV channel, where he discussed the future of technology and society.
