Since 1969, he worked at the Krasnoyarsk Design Institute Vodokanalproekt, at Kraskom LLC. He has two higher technical educations, PhD and Doctor of Technical Sciences degrees, and the academic title of Associate Professor of the Higher Attestation Commission.

He is a member of the Dissertation Council at SibFU, an expert at the Krasnoyarsk Regional Science Foundation. He holds membership in the Coordinating Council for Energy Conservation, RIA, and the regional Public Council for Environmental Protection.

He is a professor and head of the Department of Engineering Systems of Buildings and Structures at ISI SibFU, a full member of the Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation in the section "Water Supply, Sewerage and water protection systems". He is the author of about 120 papers, 7 monographs and 10 textbooks.
