
Ilya Markov
Background
He graduated from the Ural State Conservatory named after M.P. Mussorgsky.
While studying at the Conservatory, he began working at the Yekaterinburg Actor's House, then led the concert association "City House of Music", the Ural Cultural Center.
Since 2019, he has been appointed head of the Department of Culture of the Yekaterinburg City Administration, which oversees the activities of 64 municipal institutions, including theaters, museums, libraries, cultural and leisure facilities, children's art schools, the Central Park of Culture and the Zoo. He is the organizer or co-organizer of most festival projects.
