Background

James Lowe is an architect, engineer and entrepreneur, the author of the philosophy of Cybertexture, when a better world is created by using the latest technologies. His projects include buildings, street spaces, technological solutions, and educational projects.

James is the founder of James Law Cybertecture, a company engaged in architectural, interior and technological design; Cybertecture X– a laboratory for future research; Cybertecture Academy, a design training center, and Cybertecture for Humanity, a charitable organization.

James and his companies are the recipients of numerous international awards, including the FT Asian Innovation Award, the Edison Award for Innovation, the Design for Asia Award, the HSBC World Architecture Award, and the Asian Arab Awards 2019.

James Lowe is the author of the world–famous OPOD Concrete Tube Housing Project, designed to solve the problem of mass housing affordability; the architect of the world's first Apple iPod-style building in Dubai, Pad Tower; the creator of a futuristic high-speed transportation system called Hyperloop.

James holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London and is a chartered architect with the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Board of Registration of Architects of Great Britain, the Hong Kong Institute of Architects, the Board of Registration of Architects of Hong Kong and the American Institute of Architects.
