Background

He graduated from a construction college and was drafted into the Soviet Army.

During his service, he participated in the construction of the launch pad of the Baikonur cosmodrome. After demobilization, he entered the Ural Polytechnic Institute.

In 1983, he was assigned to a Turbo Engine plant in Sverdlovsk, where he worked in the capital construction department first as a foreman and then as a senior foreman.

Since 1987, he has been working in the municipal management system as the chief engineer of the Leninsky District Housing and Repair Trust.

In December 1990, he was elected Deputy chairman of the Leninsky District Executive Committee, and in 1992, he was appointed First Deputy Head of the Leninsky District administration.

From 2002 to 2016, he served as the head of the administration of the Zheleznodorozhny district of Yekaterinburg.

On September 18, 2016, he was elected deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region (Zheleznodorozhny single-mandate electoral district No. 7).
