
Ivan Kuryachy
Background
Graduated from Tomsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (2006) with a degree in Architectural Environment Design. Russian-American Center of Tomsk Polytechnic University (2006): Management.Strelka Institute of Media, Architecture and Design (2011): Postgraduate Education program, Thinning studio.
Prior to the creation of the Novaya Zemlya company, he managed projects as part of Strelka Design Bureau. Participated in the Hinterland research project conducted by the OMA Bureau (the Netherlands) and the Strelka Institute of Media Architecture, Architecture and Design. In 2011-2012, he was the head of urban and regional development projects at the IRP Group consulting company. Since 2013, he has been the Managing Director of the Novaya Zemlya Company.
He led the development of the masterplan for the Special Economic Zone in Vladivostok, the concept for the development of the Makhachkala-Caspian agglomeration, and a number of commercial development projects in the Moscow Region, the Republic of Udmurtia, and the Perm Territory. He supervised the study of the development of regional cities of the Russian Federation "The struggle for the citizen: human potential and the urban environment". He participated in the redevelopment project of the industrial zone of the Likhachev Plant, the development of the Concept of post-industrial Development of the Perm Region, the development of the Moscow City Exhibition Center, and the preparation of a functional model of the Zaryadye Park.
