She graduated from the Faculty of Hydrotechnical Engineering of M.I.Kalinin LPI, Department of Water Energy Use (IVE) with a degree in Hydroelectric Power Engineering, qualification - civil engineer – hydroelectric power engineer.

In 2015, she defended her doctoral thesis on the specialty "Renewable energy power plants" on the topic "Methodology for substantiating design parameters of hydraulic power units of high-pressure hydroelectric power plants". Scientific advisor of the dissertation: Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vasiliev Yuri Sergeevich.

Since 2018– he has been the Director of the Higher School of Hydraulic Engineering and Power Engineering at Peter the Great St. Petersburg State University of Civil Engineering.

From 2009 to 2013, she led the calculations of the Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP facilities after the accident.

For carrying out design studies of structures for the USGPP restoration project after the accident, she was awarded a government award: Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree No. 119084 Decree of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin dated 12/25/2013.
