Victor Kostarev

Kostarev Viktor Vladimirovich has more than 20 years of experience in analyzing the design and certification of nuclear power plants, in terms of structures, systems and equipment components, for dynamic loads, including operational vibration, seismic loads and loads of design accidents.

He takes an active part in the creation of domestic regulatory standards in the field of nuclear energy. He is a member of several major international and Russian engineering and scientific societies (including the IAEA, ASME), and the author of numerous research and technical publications. He is the coordinator of the IAEA research program "Comparative study of seismic analysis and testing of nuclear power plants of the VVER type."
