Background

In 2008, Ivan Kolmanok and Alexander Tomashenko founded the architectural firm AI-architects. Over 10 years of practice, the bureau has become one of the leaders of the new architectural wave. Over the past two years alone, a number of landmark projects have been implemented in Moscow under the AI-architects project, including Borovitskaya Square at the Kremlin gates of the same name, seasonal landscaping at VDNKh, and the construction of the Sheremetyevo metro station.

The renovation project of the Moscow Khoroshevo-Mnevniki district, proposed by AI-architects, became a finalist in the competition and received unprecedented support from residents.  AI-architects projects are being implemented in various cities of Russia. So, the residents  Nizhnekamsk received a comfortable space for recreation and sports in 2016, and public spaces in the cities of the Moscow region are currently being improved. AI-architects are known for their humanistic approach to urban improvement - their thoughtful and concise renovation projects of urban parks, squares and squares are recognized by professionals and become winners of architectural competitions.The bureau's competitive projects include the reconstruction of the Danilovsky Market in Moscow, the renovation of public spaces at the Kristall plant, the improvement of Victory Park, Jamgarovsky Park, the Garden of the Future Park near the Botanic Garden metro station, Mayakovsky Square, and a pedestrian bridge in Dublin.
