Background

French architectural historian, art critic. One of the first Western researchers of the Russian avant-garde. Author of the book "Le Corbusier and the mysticism of the USSR. Theories and Projects for Moscow" (released in Russia in 2012). Developer and creator of the Architecture and Cultural Heritage Town in Paris, project director until 2003 (CITÉ DE L'ARCHITECTURE & DU PATRIMOINE).

He has curated many exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art (New York), the Pompidou Center, the Canadian Center for Architecture, the Museum of Modern Art and Modernity (Strasbourg), and the German Architectural Museum (Frankfurt).

Curator of the French pavilion at the 14th Venice Architecture Biennale (2014).

He is the author of dozens of publications on the history of the avant-garde and modernism, including Soviet.

In recent years, he has been a professor at the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University and Princeton University.
