
Armen Karapetyan
Background
He graduated from the Ural State Mining University with a degree in Personnel Management. He also graduated from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration with a degree in Public and Municipal Administration.
In 1993, he held the position of director at the EMMA company, where he was engaged in construction and repair work (in the field of road construction).
In 2011, he became a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region and took up the position of Deputy Chairman of the Budget, Finance and Taxes Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region.
Since 2016, he has served as Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Policy, Environmental Management and Environmental Protection.
Since 2021, he has been Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region, a member of the Committee on Ecology, Nature Management and Environmental Protection, as well as a member of the Commission on interparliamentary activities.
