Background
He graduated from the Sverdlovsk Architectural Institute.
From 1975 to 1980 he worked in The Sverdlovsk department of working design of TsNIIEP housing by the architect — head of the group.
From 1980 to 1992, he was the head of the Architectural and Planning Workshop at the Experimental Design Bureau of Sreduralstroy, which was later transformed into the ASTROM Uraltransgaz Design Bureau.
In 1992, he established a personal creative workshop, which was transformed in 1999 into V.Kaganovich Architectural Bureau LLC, where he is still the director and chief architect.
The winner of six prizes (including the first two) at All-Union (until 1986) architectural competitions and ten diplomas at the review competitions for the period from 2007 to 2017.
