He graduated with honors from the Moscow Civil Engineering Institute with a degree in Industrial and Civil Engineering, specializing in the theory of structures. He has been working at the N.M.Gersevanov National Research Institute since 1985. During his years at the Institute, he completed postgraduate studies and defended his PhD thesis in the specialty "Foundations and foundations, underground structures". Author of 60 publications and regulatory documents.
Member of the Russian Society for Soil Mechanics, Geotechnics and Foundation Engineering (ROMGGiF) and the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnics (ISSMGE), Head of PK19 "Geotechnics" TC 465 "Construction".
