Vladimir Guriev

Graduated Leningrad Institute of Technology named after The Leningrad City Council (1972). He started working as an engineer at "Orgpromstroy" of the USSR Ministry of Industry and Construction.

Since 1973 For a year he worked at the V. A. Kucherenko Central Research Institute, having worked his way up to deputy Director of Scientific work.

In 1991 He defended his doctoral thesis in 1997 and received the title of professor in 1997.

""1994-2002 — Deputy General Director for Scientific Work of the SSC "Stroitelstvo" and JSC "Stroyprogress".

In 2002-2015, he was the Deputy Director for Scientific Work at MNITEP. survey, monitoring, and maintenance of buildings.

In 2015-2021, he worked at the FAA "FTS" of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, participated in the development of and the examination of the regulatory framework for construction.

From 2021 For two years, he was Deputy General Director at the FSBI "TSNIIP of the Ministry of Construction of Russia".

Specialist in the field of construction safety, earthquake-resistant construction,

monitoring buildings, fire safety, and building materials.

Developed lightweight enclosing structures, facade systems and flame-retardant materials, as well as automated monitoring systems for buildings (including indoor facilities Moscow, Sochi and at the 2018 World Cup).

Author 232 scientific papers, 5 monographs, more than 70 patents and inventions.

Under the supervision of V.V. Guryev, 7 PhD and 1 doctoral dissertation were defended.
