Background

Vladimir carries out extensive scientific and public work, being Deputy chairman of the section "Building Technologies and Architecture" of the Interdepartmental Council for Awarding Prizes of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology, head of the Interdepartmental Council of the Working Group on Seismology and Earthquake-resistant Construction, member of the Regulatory and Technical Council of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, member of the expert councils of the Government of Moscow, member of the subcommittee "Safe operation of buildings and structures" TC 465 "Construction", was a member of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Rudn State Research and Development Committee, academic councils for the defense of doctoral and candidate theses and other scientific and technical councils. Under the scientific supervision of V.V. Guryev, 7 PhD theses and 1 doctoral dissertation were defended.
