Background

Associate Professor, Candidate of Architecture. Head of the Department of Art History and Restoration at the Ural State University of Architecture and Art. After graduating from the construction college, he served as an engineer in the construction troops from 1974 to 1986. In 1985 he graduated from the Sverdlovsk Architectural Institute. In 1996, he began teaching at the Ural Academy of Architecture and Art. In 2004, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Architecture of churches in Yekaterinburg of the XVIII-XIX centuries."

He is the head of the Department of Reconstruction and Restoration of Architectural Heritage.
